Ray's Other Half Double...

Dear Michael,
Moniqua and I went to see Ray's place today. It was already rented, but we saw another one for 750 that blew all the other fishes out of the ocean.

What you will like about this place:
The kitchen.
The attic.
The location.
The NEW windows.
The cleaness of the entire house.
Unexposed wires.
Extra tiny room for a study.
The dishwasher and the disposal.
W/D hookups in the basement.

The downside to the place is that it is not available until September 1st, so we would have to do a little bit of moving around bits of monika's place (and her cat) while she's on vacation. Ray was much more personable this time around. I think you will really like this place. Here are some pictures (there were already people living in the place so I only took pictures of the downstairs).

Fabrics and Sewing...

Update!?!?

I am about to begin in a new adventure. Quilting! And I have my plan! Here are pictures of the Plan; pictures of the fabric will have to wait until I'm done preshrinking. :)

First, here's about what I want the colors to be I ended up going with more of a tanish color than yellow-I just couldn't find a yellow that wasn't too blindingly yellow.


Second, here's what I want to do with the colors--they change in each line. I also like the idea of the plain border.


I am so excited to get started. The block is called Double Friendship Star. :)
